Legend Of Frog ( Japan )

Once upon a time in the country of Japan there lived two frogs, one of whom made his home in a ditch near the city of Osaka, on the coast, while the others stayed in a clear stream that ran through the city of Kyoto.
With such a large distance, they had never heard even from each other, but funnily enough the idea came into both their heads at once that they like to see a little of the world, and the frog who lived at Kyoto wanted to Osaka, and the frog who wanted to go to Osaka to Kyoto, where the great Mikado had his palace lived to visit.
So one fine morning in spring, both along the road from Kyoto to Osaka, led a set from one end and the other from the others. The trip was tiring, as they expected because they did not know much about traveling, and halfway between the two cities was a mountain that had to be climbed.
It took a long time and many hops to reach the top, but since they were last, and what was the surprise of the other frogs to see of him! They saw each other for a moment without speaking, and then got to talking and said that the cause of their meeting from as far their homes.
It was wonderful to see that they both felt the same desire - a little more to learn from their home and there was no hurry they stretched themselves agreed in a cool, damp place, and that they have a good rest before they parted, to go on their ways.

"Too bad we are not bigger," said the Osaka frog, "because then we both cities could see it from here, and say whether it is worth going on."

"Oh, that's easy to manage," said the Kyoto frog. "We've only got to get up on our hind legs and holding each other, and then we can all look at the city he is traveling on."

Japanese FrogThis idea pleased the Osaka so much that he jumped at once frog and put his front paws on the shoulders of his friend, who also increased. There were two, stretching themselves as high as they could, and were holding each other so that they may fall.
The Kyoto frog turned his nose towards Osaka, Osaka, and the frog turned his nose towards Kyoto, but forget the foolish things of that when she got up, put her big eyes in the back of their heads, and that though their noses might point to the places to which they wanted to go their eyes saw the places from which they came.

"Oh, God," said the frog Osaka, Kyoto is exactly like Osaka. It is certainly not worth such a long journey. I'm going home! "

"If I had any idea that Osaka was only a copy of Kyoto have I never made it all the way," said the frog from Kyoto, and when he said he took his hands from his friend's shoulders, and both fell on the grass.
Then they took a polite farewell of each other, and brings them home again, and by the end of their lives they believed that Osaka and Kyoto, which can be seen as different from both cities are carried as two peas like.
